I attended a recruitment seminar held at the Tauranga Central Police Station in June 2007. It was an impressive turnout that packed the upstairs Police bar. The seminar was very informative and provided valuable information to the attendees that covered steps needed to progress towards selection, training at Police College, the various roles available within Police and of course pay rates.
We were invited to take a recruitment pack with us that contained an expression of interest form to be returned to the Tauranga Recruiting Officer, Loyd Buckley.
I filled in my form and returned it to Loyd not long after the seminar.
